Lake Dorr Cabin

Located on the south shore of Lake Dorr approximately 1.5 miles north east of Altoona, FL. Shady Palmetto palms and other subtropical vegetation surround the 2 acre cabin site. Boating, swimming, jet skiing, and fishing for bass, crappie and pan fish are popular recreational activities. 

This one level modern cabin is newly restored with polished hardwood floors and large windows. The cabin sleeps 10 with a queen bed in one bedroom, two sets of bunk beds in the second bedroom and two sleeper sofas in the living room. In addition, there is a modern fully accessible bathroom with a shower. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with cooking and eating utensils, microwave, coffeepot, refrigerator and electric stove. Guests supply their own bedding, pillows, towels, dish soap and other camping supplies.

Driving Directions

Lake Dorr Cabin is at the southern end of Lake Dorr. Follow SR 19 north from Altoona. Turn right on East Altoona Road, left onto Big Oak Rd., then right onto McCall (CR 8378) to reach the cabin. You can follow small brown and white signs from there.
